Abstract
We compare two teaching me thodologies for explaining two topics concerning Input-output analysis, autonomous sets and fundamental products, in the context of bachelor degrees in Economics and Business Administration. In addition, we expound the traditional methodology based on studying the technical coefficients matrix and the subsets of rows coming from this matrix; on the other hand, we propose a new methodologybasedongraphtheory, whichmakeseasierboththeunderstanding of the problem and the automation of procedures for students. We focus on highlighting pros and cons for both methodologies when teaching these topics according to our teaching experience.
