Abstract
This Final Degree Project analyzes gender violence as a cause of homelessness in women, a violence present in their past life, but also in their situation on the street, since the violence suffered by homeless people differs according to gender. To this end, a documentary review was carried out to determine the situation of homeless people in the city of Seville, taking into account gender discrimination and the consequent feminization of poverty. In order to know this reality, a methodological proposal was designed using interview techniques, discussion group and questionnaires. However, this research could not be carried out due to a series of limitations in data collection since homeless people could not regularly access the different resources. Likewise, it has been possible to analyze through other research that homeless women have experienced situations of violence exercised by their partners, ex-partners or family members prior to their homelessness, and that this has been a cause that has triggered their residential exclusion.
