Abstract
La siguiente investigación parte de la existencia de una brecha digital que incide en las personas mayores, y de forma especial, en las mujeres. El objetivo que se plantea es analizar el uso que se realiza de las TICS por género. Para ello, se han realizado 14 entrevistas a mujeres y 13 entrevistas a hombres de la población de Mairena del Alcor, Sevilla. La falta de formación, habilidades, la edad, la zona de residencia (rural/urbana)¿ son los motivos principales que se han hallado en la búsqueda teórica en relación a la brecha digital.
The following research is based on the existence of a digital gap that affects the elderly, and especially women. The objective is to analyze the unequal use of TICS by gender. For this purpose, 14 interviews were conducted with women and 13 interviews were with men from the town of Mairena del Alcor, Seville. Lack of training, skills, age, area of residence (rural / urban) ... are the main reasons that have been found in the theoretical search related to the digital divide.
