La cordillera de El Tentzon, casa del diablo y lugar para pedir la lluvia. Una breve aproximación a la tradición oral de Atoyatempan (Puebla-México).

Abstract

En este texto presento parte de la investigación que realicé durante la licenciatura1, cuyo objetivo medular fue la recopilación y el estudio de la tradición oral del municipio de Atoyatempan (Puebla-México). En el municipio están en contacto el náhuatl y el español y, en consecuencia dos culturas, por lo tanto, la tradición oral se nutre de la visión indígena y la occidental; ambas perviven sin conflicto y son perfectamente identificables, para demostrarlo, de la gama de historias recopiladas presento un breve análisis basado en cuatro relatos que tienen como personaje central a El Tentzon (cordillera herencia de los abuelos, lugar para pedir la lluvia y casa del diablo).

In this text I introduce part of the investigation that I did during the degree, whose core objective was the compilation and study of the oral tradition of the municipality of Atoyatempan (Puebla-Mexico). In the municipality the Nahuatl and the Spanish are in contact and, consequently, two cultures, therefore, the oral tradition nourishes from the indigenous vision and the western one; both survive without conflict and are perfectly identifiable, to prove it, from the range of stories compiled I present a brief analysis based on four stories that have as central character The Tentzon (mountain range inheritance of the grandparents, place to ask the rain and house of the devil).
