Abstract
Different research groups have studied artistic relations between Andalusia and America enrolled in Andalusian universities, highlighting by its activity and number of publications the so-called ¿Andalusia and America: heritage and artistic relations¿ (HUM 806). Currently, some members of this group focus their research on relations with the United States. This work studies the enormous amount of Baroque works of Andalusian origin preserved in the museums of the United States, pointing out institutions and the reasons that led American patrons to implement this collection.
