Thirty years of social policy in Andalusia

Abstract

This chapter examines the evolution of social policy in Andalusia. First, it describes the neoliberal context in which Andalusian social policy is framed today. Second, the chapter provides a general overview ofpoverty and exclusion in the region. Third, it analyses the main social policies in Andalusia. Finally, it reflects on the main contemporary challenges for social policy in this region.
