A través de la crónica de Fray Francisco de los Santos se ofrece un estudio sobre las investigaciones que tratan a Velázquez como decorador e ideólogo de la renovación escurialense, analizando la terminología y vocabulario estético del Padre Santos en el contexto de su consideración historiográfica.
Through the chronicle of Fray Francisco de los Santos, a study is offered about the investigations that deal with Velázquez as decorator and ideologist of the renewal of El Escorial, analyzing the terminology and aesthetic vocabulary of Friar Santos in the context of his historiographical consideration.
