Abstract
En este trabajo se estudian algunos retablos fingidos realizados sobre lienzo en Castilla y León, sus características, motivaciones y las fuentes empleadas para su diseño. Se trata de una tipología poco conocida pero relevante para entender los puntos de contacto entre los pintores y otros artistas así como para completar la evolución formal del retablo durante el siglo XVII.
In this paper we study some feigned altarpieces painted on canvas in Castile and Leon, their characteristics, motivations and the sources used for their design. It is a little known but relevant typology necessary to understand the points of contact between painters and other artists as well as to complete the formal evolution of the altarpiece during the 17th century.
