Abstract
La Antigua Guatemala, pertenece al departamento de Sacatepé-
quez, en Guatemala, Centro América, fue declarada patrimonio de
la humanidad por UNESCO en el año de 1979. En este trabajo se
analiza y explora la relación cultural y social desde la perspectiva de
cuatro grupos considerados vitales en la dinámica de la ciudad, estos
grupos son los visitantes, escolares, discapacitados y los usuarios
permanentes. Se analiza las actividades principales que se realizan
en la ciudad, desde la perspectiva de cada grupo, la importancia del
patrimonio, el conocimiento de la ciudad y los lugares que cada grupo
considera importantes además de la perspectiva que para grupo
tiene sobre la restauración y conservación de la ciudad.
La Antigua Guatemala, belongs to the department of Sacatepé- quez, Guatemala, Central America, was declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1979. This paper analyzes and explores the cultural and social relations from the perspective of four groups considered vital in the dynamics of the city, these groups are visitors, students, disabled and permanent users. the main activities carried out in the city , from the perspective of each group , the importance of heritage , knowledge of the city and places that each group considers important addition to the prospect that the group has on the restoration and conservation is analyzed from the city.
