El absentismo escolar en menores de origen rumano. Menores absentistas de origen rumano en asentamientos de Sevilla.

Abstract

Actualmente, los problemas que más preocupan en el ámbito educativo son el absentismo y el fracaso escolar. Constantemente se está buscando qué es lo que está fallando y por qué este fenómeno aumenta cada vez más. Aunque ya son numerosas las soluciones que se han establecido para prevenirlo, parece no estar solventado. En esta investigación nos hemos centrado en estudiar el absentismo de un colectivo específico que, debido a las condiciones en las que se encuentran, podrían presentar diferentes motivos a los que estamos acostumbrados a escuchar. La investigación está contextualizada en Cruz Roja, concretamente en la Asamblea Provincial de Sevilla. La población de estudio serán los usuarios del proyecto Atención a Personas Vulnerables en Asentamientos. Además de los objetivos establecidos para esta investigación, a través de ésta, buscamos la mejora de calidad de vida de este colectivo y la eliminación progresiva de los estereotipos que éstos sufren en su vida diaria.

Nowadays the problems that worry the most in the sphere of education are school absenteeism and school failure. Constantly, it is investigated what is failing and why this phenomenon is increasing. Although there are many solutions established to prevent it, it doesn¿t seem to be solved. In this research, we have focused on studying school absenteeism of a specific group that due to the conditions they face, they could present different reasons to the ones we are used to. The research is contextualised in The Spanish Red Cross, specifically in the Provincial Assembly of Seville. The study population will be the users of the project called Attention to Vulnerable People in Settlements. In addition to the objectives established for this research, through this we look for the improvement in the quality of life of this group and the progressive elimination of the stereotypes that they suffer in their daily life.
