Abstract
The purpose of this essay is to reflect on the epistemological and conceptual bases of ecofeminism, betting on microcredit as a mechanism or tool capable of empowering women who, due to their subordination, condition, occupation, and prescribed roles, maintain a close relationship with nature and with the Care work that is carried out in the shadow of the private sphere, invisible tasks that constitute the foundations of the development of the current economy. It is intended to approach microcredit from ecofeminist perspectives in an attempt to 3 help women achieve self-determination, self-confidence and autonomy for their access to public sectors, from where they can break with the ecological and social crises resulting from the current economic system, helping to overcome the unfair distribution of care tasks between men and women and the transformation of economic progress towards caring for bodies and nature based on ecological, social, sustainable and more equitable economies.
