Abstract

La ciudad de Sevilla se convirtió, entre 1729 y 1733, en un escenario festivo en el que, para dotar de esplendor a la Estancia Real, se integraron distintos artistas vinculados con la corte. Estos años sirvieron para la definición de un nuevo gusto artístico dieciochesco que se fusionó con el del siglo anterior en la ciudad e improntó al reinado de Felipe V e Isabel de Farnesio. En este contexto las relaciones artísticas entre las cortes española y portuguesa se incrementan, produciéndose una internacionalización del gusto a través de pintores como Jean Ranc o Domenico y Giuseppe Duprà. Todos ellos viajan por Europa y transmiten su nueva visión del arte cortesano, estableciéndose una red de intercambios e influencias artísticas que conlleva un ¿modo común¿ de entender el arte difundido en las distintas cortes.
The city of Seville became, between 1729 and 1733, a festive scene, in which to give splendor to the Royal Transfer, different artists linked with the court were integrated. These four years served to define a new eighteenth-century artistic taste that merged with the one of the previous century in the city, but that implied the reign of Felipe V of Bourbon and Elisabetta Farnese. In this context, artistic relations between the spanish and portuguese courts are increased, producing an internationalization of taste through painters such as Jean Ranc or Domenico and Giuseppe Duprà who travel around Europe and transmit their new vision of court art, establishing a network of exchanges and artistic influences that entails a ¿common way¿ of understanding the art disseminated in the different European courts.
