Diseño de un instrumento para el diagnóstico de riesgo en menores de centros residenciales básicos de acogida: CHSv1

Abstract

En el presente artículo se plantea la elaboración y futura validación de un instrumento de tamizaje o screening para diagnosticar y evaluar a menores en centros básicos residenciales de acogida. El instrumento elaborado, CHSv1, se concibe como una herramienta de tamizaje para un primer diagnóstico del riesgo de exclusión social e inadaptación futura que permita planificar intervenciones educativas más ajustadas y realizar derivaciones a servicios o profesionales más especializados. Las dimensiones que se pretenden cubrir para diagnosticar el riesgo de exclusión social son: autoestima; autoeficiencia generalizada; satisfacción vital; optimismo; tolerancia a la frustración; planificación y toma de decisiones; empatía; expresión, manejo y reconocimiento de las emociones; y apego a iguales. Además, se señalan los instrumentos de referencia revisados y las razones para no contemplar los que, finalmente, no han sido escogidos. El diseño contempla la aplicación del CHSv1 a una muestra seleccionada de menores residentes en la provincia de Granada (España), realizando contraste con la prueba diagnóstica estandarizada BASC para realizar los análisis de sensibilidad y predictividad pertinentes. El artículo concluye con un apartado de conclusiones y señalando las limitaciones de la investigación.

In this article we propose the development and future validation of a screening or screening instrument to diagnose and evaluate minors in basic residential care centers. The elaborated instrument, CHSv1, is conceived as a screening tool for a first diagnosis of the risk of social exclusion and future maladjustment that allows to plan more adjusted educational interventions and make referrals to more specialized services or professionals. The dimensions that are intended to cover to diagnose the risk of social exclusion are: self-esteem; generalized self-efficacy; life satisfaction; optimism; frustration tolerance; planning and decision making; empathy; expression, management and recognition of emotions; and attachment to equals. In addition, the reference instruments reviewed and the reasons for not contemplating those that, finally, have not been chosen are indicated. The design contemplates the application of CHSv1 to a selected sample of minors residing in the province of Granada (Spain), making a contrast with the BASC standardized diagnostic test to perform the relevant sensitivity and predictivity analyzes. The article concludes with a section of conclusions and pointing out the limitations of the investigation.
