Ronda en Al-Muqtabis 2b y 2c

Abstract

This article offers the edition, translation and textual analysis of the stories related to Ronda collected in volume 2 of the work Al-Muqtabis by Ibn Hayyan. The significance of the M2b manuscript, published by the R.A.H., makes possible a new contribution to the knowlegde of the Umayyad emirate in Al-Andalus, in this case through the texts about Ronda. The present study also proposes the translation of the texts related to this circumscription and included in the M2c, since there in no Spanish version.Este trabajo ofrece la edición y traducción de los textos relativos a Ronda presentes en el volumen 2 de Al-Muqtabis de Ibn Hayyan. La relevancia del manuscrito M2b, publicado por la R.A.H., hace que sea posible contribuir con un nuevo análisis textual al conocimiento del período del emirato Omeya, en este caso a través de las noticias sobre Ronda. Y, por otro lado, dado que no existe una versión en español, se ofrecen los textos traducidos relativos a esta circunscripción andalusí incorporados en el M2c.
