Abstract
Con este proyecto se pretende intervenir para conseguir una mejora de la calidad de vida de las personas con Síndrome de Down a través de actividades de convivencia y deportivas en zonas rurales. Este proyecto está diseñado para doce personas con Síndrome de Down, cuyas edades se comprenden entre los 25 y 35 años, y pertenecen a la Asociación ASEDOWN de Sevilla. Éste se llevará a cabo en un pueblo de la provincia de Cádiz (Bornos) durante un fin de semana; con alojamiento completo en el camping del mismo y actividades diseñadas a lo largo de todo el día para mejorar las habilidades sociales y la salud física de las personas participantes. Todas estas acciones se desarrollarán enfocadas a una metodología participativa, activa, lúdica, flexible, práctica y creativa, para poder llevar a cabo un proyecto atractivo y a la vez lleno de aprendizajes.
Se espera que a través de este proyecto los participantes puedan acceder a mayores recursos que les permitan una mejora de la calidad de vida, con mayor autonomía e independencia, a través de nuevas actividades deportivas y entornos rurales.
This Project aims to intervene in achieving an improvement in the quality of life of people with Down Syndrome through activities of coexistence and sports in rural areas. This project is designed for twelve people with Down syndrome, whose ages are between 25 and 35 years old, and belong to the ASEDOWN Association of Seville. These activities will take place in a town of the province of Cadiz (Bornos) during one weekend, with accommodation in the campsite itself and activities designed throughout the day to improve the social skills and physical health of the participants. All these activities will be developed focusing on a participative, active, playful, flexible, practical and creative methodology, to be able to carry out an attractive project and at the same time full of learning. We hope that through this project the participants will be able to access greater resources that will allow them an improvement in their quality of life, with greater autonomy and independence, through new sports activities and rural environments.
