Abstract
The aim of this paper is to explore the emergence of social and labor issues in Tucumán during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. To serve this purpose, we analyze the association and protest practices developed in the world of work, especially urban. Another angle of this paper is to study the role played by the press that produced and distributed a number of topics that aimed to call the attention and solve the social and labor problems.
