Abstract
Una de las mayores discriminaciones que existe hoy en día tanto en España
como el resto del mundo es la discriminación por razón de género. Por ello este
proyecto de investigación se basa en estudiar cómo se da ésta discriminación
específicamente en el ámbito laboral.
Las mujeres están condicionadas en su actividad profesional por distintos
factores como pueden ser el techo de cristal o la brecha salarial, los cuales tienen
la siguiente definición:
- Techo de cristal: conjunto de normas que no están en el interior de las
organizaciones que les pone difícil a las mujeres acceder a los puestos de alta
dirección.
- Brecha salarial: existen diferencias entre los ingresos brutos recibidos por
mujeres y hombres por horas de trabajo.
Para hacer frente a estas discriminaciones se diseñaron las políticas de igualdad
las que a partir de la democracia han tenido un espectacular desarrollo.
El ámbito laboral es un escenario más en el que se muestra la sociedad patriarcal
en la que estamos inmersos, y con este proyecto intentaré desde mi postura,
identificar la existencia de las desigualdades y estudiar su impacto en la sociedad
actual.

For this reason, this research project is based on studying how this discrimination occurs specifically in the workplace. Women are conditioned in their professional activity by different factors such as the glass ceiling or the wage gap, which have the following definition: - Glass ceiling: set of rules that are not within organizations that make it difficult for women to access senior management positions. - Wage gap: there are differences between the gross income received by women and men for hours of work. In order to face these discriminations, equality policies were designed which, starting from democracy, have had a spectacular development. The workplace is one more scenario in which the patriarchal society in which we are immersed is shown, and with this project I will try from my position, to identify the existence of inequalities and study their impact on today's society.
