La mediación intercultural: Profundizando en el concepto de cultura

Abstract

En las labores de mediación intercultural, se dan por hecho algunos conceptos y, por ende, se dan por zanjada sus fundamentaciones, cuando sus significdos son de importancia estimable y, éste es el caso del concepto de cultura. Por ello, procurando aclarar algunas claves pertinentes de la mediación intercultural,en este artículo intentará resaltar cuestiones como la noción de cultura, la condición postcolonial, multiculturalidad vs interculturalidad, así como los debates y discursiones surgidos en torno a ella.In the field of Intercultural Mediation work, some concepts are taken for granted and therefore their foundations seem settled, although the inestimable importance of their meanings. Such is the case of the culture concept. Therefore, in order to clarify some relevant keys of the intercultural mediation, I will try to highlight in this article some issues such as the notion of culture, the postcolonial condition, multiculturalism vs interculturalism, as well as the debates and discussions emerged around these concepts.
