¡Juguemos Juntos! Estudio del envejecimiento activo desde la intergeneracionalidad

Abstract

Actualmente vivimos en una sociedad cambiante, donde la esperanza de vida va aumentando con el paso de los años, por lo que la calidad de vida y el envejecimiento activo de las personas mayores tiene que ir mejorando. El objetivo principal de este estudio es fomentar el envejecimiento activo en las personas mayores a través de las relaciones intergeneracionales. Las técnicas seleccionadas para la investigación han sido: una entrevista a la educadora social de los Servicios Sociales y otra al docente del Centro de Mayores, la observación participante y un cuestionario al alumnado del centro. También se ha utilizado técnicas como fichas de control y listas de control para la realización de la evaluación. Se llega a la conclusión de que es muy importante la figura del Educador/a Social en esta localidad, ya que al tener un alto porcentaje de personas mayores se debe trabajar en todo momento el envejecimiento activo desde diferentes perspectivas, como el mantenimiento físico, los hábitos saludables, las relaciones sociales y la autoestima.

Abstrac we live in a changing society, where the life expectancy has advanced in the passing of the years, where the quality of life and active aging of the elderly needs to improve. The main objective of this investigation is to promote active aging in the elderly through intergenerational relationships. The techniques that where selected for the investigation were: an interview to the Social Educator of the Social Services and another to the teacher of the Seniors Center, the observation of the participant and a survey to the alumnae of the center. Also, techniques for the control of documents and control list for the completion of the evaluation. Therefore, coming to the conclusión that it is very important the figure of the Social Educator in this locality, because having a high precentage of elderly people, it should be worked in every moment the active aging from different perspectives, like physical maintenance, healthy habits, social realtionships and self-esteem.
