Abstract
Central America inaugurates globalization half a millennium ago with the discovery of the Pacific ocean; and paradoxically, the first frontiers. Travel and frontier are presented as a same landscape project from urban stability. In its access ritual, its constitution is utopia. Granada de Nicaragua, a result of these criteria, sanctions with its architecture the double violence of volcanoes and earthquakes, as well as the ambition of European powers. Its grid will suffer a territorial stretch. Central America was always ¿something more¿. As a contemporary cultural fact, it enables us to perceive a light that reaches us to read memory in an unprecedented way. Ours.
