Nuevas noticias sobre el pintor Cristóbal de Morales (1510-1542)

Abstract

En este estudio se aborda una de las figuras claves de la pintura sevillana del primer tercio del siglo XVI, Cristóbal de Morales. El desconocimiento de gran parte de su obra y de muchos datos sobre su vida, son en parte solventados en este trabajo, donde se exponen aquellos datos conocidos hasta el momento de su biografía como otros nuevos localizados por nosotros en el Archivo de Protocolos de Sevilla.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------This study deals with one of the key figures of the sevillian painting from the first third of the 16th century, Cristóbal de Morales. The ignorance of great part of his work and of many details of his life are partly solved in this work, which shows the information known up to the moment of his biography, as well as other new ones located by us in the Archive of the Notarial Registry of Seville.
