El ensayo describe el proceso de aculturación americana en Italia a través
del análisis de la historia, las fuentes literarias y artísticas, así como las iniciativas
de la familia Medici y de otros representantes de la cultura y de las
artes en la península italiana. El texto propone un examen de la bibliografía
publicada hasta la fecha y una serie de propuestas nuevas en el ámbito de
la escritura y las Bellas Artes (s. XVI-XVII).
The essay describes the process of American acculturation in Italy through the analysis of history, literary and artistic sources, as well as initiatives of the Medici family and other representatives of culture and arts in the Italian peninsula. The text proposes a review of the literature published to date and a series of new proposals in the field of writing and Fine Arts (16th and 17th centuries).
