Festividad de Santo Domingo de Guzmán en la Ciudad de Managua. Patrimonio Inmaterial, tejido viviente que conecta la ciudad fragmentada.

Abstract

En el presente artículo se expone un caso de estudio que muestra la capacidad y fuerza del patrimonio inmaterial que, nacido del pacto social popular, es capaz de entretejer periódicamente Managua, una ciudad capital fragmentada por el tiempo. Se identifican las causas y efectos que generaron una ciudad dividida por las marcas físicas visibles de las desigualdades sociales y económicas. El análisis se realizó a partir de dos conceptos indispensables para lograr una visión integral, que permitió vincular la realidad urbana con la lectura de la construcción de los sentidos de apropiación e identidad del patrimonio, material e inmaterial, durante la festividad. Es decir, se aplicó, por un lado, el análisis panóptico para facilitar la lectura esquemática de la ciudad y los momentos clave que marcan su transformación física, y por otro lado, la lectura sobre la producción y construcción social del espacio en el que se desarrolla la festividad culturalmente cargada de sincretismo religioso.

In this article, a case study is presented which shows the capacity and strength of intangible patrimony which, born of the common social pact, is capable of periodically interweaving Managua, a city fragmented in time. The causes and effects that generated a city divided by visible, physical marks of economic and social inequalities, are identified. This analysis was made using two indispensible concepts to achieve an integral view that grounds the urban reality with a reading of the construction of the feelings of appropriation and identity of the material and intangible patrimonies during festivities. That is, on one side, a panoptic analysis was applied to facilitate the schematic reading of the city and the key moments that mark its physical transformation, and on the other side, the reading on social production and construction of space in which the festivities which are culturally charged with religious syncretism is developed
