Abstract
In recent decades, economic growth, industrial development and modern technologies have brought a new degree of comfort and well-being to our lives, causing an increase in the consumption of goods and services. The most important sources of generation in the energy matrix, especially in Argentina, are fossil fuels, the main contributors to climate change. However, its solar and wind potential is immense and to take advantage of it, a decentralized renewable energy generation model was needed. The purpose of this article is to analyse the main aspects of the new Law No. 27.424 "Regime for the Promotion of Distributed Generation of Renewable Energy Integrated into the Public Electricity Network" in Argentine.
