Abstract

The children who enter an Immediate Reception Center carry with them experiences of problematic and complex situations produced in their family environment. The professionals of this institution work with them in a behavioral way, adapting them to the norms of the Center and without taking into account their emotions and the situations of adversity that they have lived. This way of working with the minors causes a delay in their development and evolution, causing in many occasions that the minors are absent from the Centers. Emotions have a fundamental importance in the development of the minors who are in the protection system because of their family problems. This intervention project aims to establish a new model to intervene with children so that they work with them to resilience, in order not to focus on their behavior, but on their emotions and work with their past , So that they acquire the capacity to be resilient people, that is, that they evolve positively and are people with attitude and capacity to face their situations of adversity, that recover from difficult and even traumatic situations.
