Abstract
The primary objective of this volume is to explore the narrative work of a prominent writer who, despite having been translated into several languages, remains regrettably little known outside Argentina and Romania. As we can see, this lack of recognition stems largely from a literary canon dominated by male figures who, throughout history, have overlooked the majority of women writers. It is also due to the fact that she is a Latin American writer, a position that places her in a doubly marginal space—both for being a woman and for having produced her literature from the reality of South America.
