Bacó Alfonso es uno de esos pocos seres quehacen flautas, va a la montaña y recibe los mensajes de los espíritus protectores de los sitios sagrados de Bëngbe Uáman Tabanok ¿Nuestro Sagrado Lugar de Origen¿. Su vida ha estado surcada por el verdor de las cañas de bambú de las altas montañas del valle de Sibundoy y por el calor del fuego de sus linajes sagrados: Juagibioy y Jamioy. El presente capítulo relata los sueños y las esperanzas de un ser que ha caminado cerca de seis décadas en Tamabioy: sus sonidos han trascendido hasta nuestra generación para guardar ¿nuestra forma más bonita de alegrarnos¿ ¿cabëngbe botamán oboyejuayán¿, sus flautas traen la fuerza de las cascadas del territorio ancestral Taita Carlos Tamabioy, sus sonidos evocan tiempos de seres fantasmagóricos y su andar pausado indica que ¿hay que caminar despacio¿ ¿uenán¿, sin prisa, para ser conscientes del color del sonido y de cómo, lentamente, el viento labra el silencio.
