Abstract
During the guatemalan armed process, the resource of the enlightenment and reproduction of printed materials as a means of political propaganda had among their main practices the publication of magazines as a means of disseminating their ideology. Here we present the case of the Military Commission (COMIL) of PGT, and subsequently Guatemalan Labor Party- Communist Party (PGT-PC) at the time of splitting from the Party in 1978, when it emerged as an autonomous revolutionary group. The need to be visibilised to other organizations in the own scenario of war derived in the edition of Claridad newspaper. In this work, we will discuss the configuration of this newspaper as a cultural resource inserted in the armed conflict of this Central America country, highlighting his trajectory as a communist tradition and the graphic as a revolutionary cultural resource.
