Abstract
Este trabajo pretende hacer un estudio sobre los sentimientos y las emociones
que experimentan los cuidadores informales de personas enfermas de
Alzheimer. La enfermedad de Alzheimer es una enfermedad degenerativa que
necesita del mundo de los cuidados ya que con ella pierdes la autonomía
personal. Este mundo de los cuidados tradicionalmente ha sido asignado a la
mujer debido a su labor como cuidadoras.
Desde AFA Aljarafe los cuidadores informales reciben un apoyo necesario,
además de tener una menor sobrecarga, lo que repercute en la salud mental de
estos.
This paper aims to study the feelings and emotions experienced by informal caregivers of people with Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer's disease is a degenerative disease that requires the world of caregiving because personal autonomy is lost. This world of care has traditionally been assigned to women because of their work as caregivers. From AFA Aljarafe, informal caregivers receive the necessary support, in addition to having less overload, which has an impact on their mental health.
