Abstract
En la actualidad, existen numerosas intervenciones que abordan la Inteligencia
Emocional en el ámbito educativo; sin embargo, desde este proyecto de intervenciónse
pretenden implementar nuevas actividades en las que los menores de la AsociaciónRutas
de Sevilla, en el barrio de Polígono Norte, han adquirido diversas habilidades relacionadas
con la asertividad, el respeto, la motivación y el autoconocimiento. El objetivo de este
trabajo es explorar los beneficios de la Inteligencia Emocional en materia de habilidades
sociales; mediante actividades adaptadas a la infancia (niños y niñas entre 6 y 12 años),
sobre el autoconcepto de los/as niños/as y competencias para la socialización. Los
resultados permitirán identificar cambios en los comportamientos de los niños y niñas, así
como una mejora en las capacidades relacionales y de comunicación con el entorno,
mediante un proceso evaluativo continuo durante la realización del proyecto.
Nowadays, there are numerous intervention projects that work on Emotional Intelligence in the educational field; nevertheless, this project implemented new activities in which the minors of the Asociación Rutas de Sevilla, in the Polígono Norteneighbourhood, acquired several skills related to assertiveness, respect, motivation and self-knowledge. The objective of this project is to explore Emotional Intelligence benefits in termsof social skills through activities adapted to children (from 6 to 12 years old) on their selfconcept and socialization abilities of the social group. The results obtained create the possibility to identify changes in children's behaviour, as well as an improvement in relational and communication skills with theirenvironment, through a continuous evaluation process during the project.
