Abstract

Although the correct affiliation to statuary type, well known, presents no great difficulty, nonetheless the most serious problems were try identify the prototype of the creative artist, the place of manufacture of these statues, the material used for manufacturing at source, their timing and the holy places where they earned cult. A summary of these issues are those intended to address in the following lines.
