Abstract

En Galicia, la energía eólica destaca entre las principales fuentes energéticas autóctonas. Cuantificar su impacto económico es crucial, pero existen una serie de dificultades debidas al análisis diferenciado de las actividades permanentes y temporales, entre otros factores.El principal objetivo de este artículo es estimar el impacto económico de la energía eólica. La metodología se basa en el análisis input-output, mediante el estudio de las cadenas de valor y en la actualización de las estructuras productivas, empleando una variante del RAS. Los resultados muestran un sector con fuertes efectos de arrastre, tanto en su actividad temporal como en la permanente. Sin embargo, la paralización de nuevos parques eólicos limita sustancialmente el impacto económico regional.------------------------------------Wind energy stands out among the main domestic renewable energy sources in Galicia. The economic impact quantification is crucial but there are several difficulties due to the differential analysis of the temporal and permanent activities, among other factors.The main aim of this paper consists of the economic impact estimation of wind energy. The methodology is based on the input-output analysis, by means of the value chain examination and the productive structure updating, using a RAS variation. The results show a sector with additional output increase, both in temporal as well as permanent activities. Nevertheless, the paralysation of new wind farms restricts substantially the economic impact on the regional GDP.
