Abstract
patrimonial ciudadana.
In Central America, the patrimonial loss of pre-Columbian Art is a serious problem. Daily, a lot of prehispanic objects leave their countries of origin to become part of museums and foreign collections. In this study, they are shown some of the measures adopted by the affected governments, ranging from the creation of an appropriate legislative framework, to the introduction of a patrimonial consciousness between citizens.
