Abstract

Their distinctive feature lies in promoting participatory planning and “moral imagination,” understood as the capacity to project alternative scenarios and become aware of the implications and consequences of our actions. In practice, these laboratories have proven to have a positive impact in both formal and community educational settings, especially in relation to social justice, interculturality, and sustainability. Their impact is reflected in the strengthening of critical, collaborative, and creative skills, as well as in the opening of spaces for direct democracy and shared responsibility.
