Abstract
This chapter is about the issue of violence and the interpretation as a social phenomenon from the perspective of psychoanalysis, specifically when considering the ¿It¿, part of the mind where the reactions and relevant aspects of human behavior that obey the instinct are housed and two opposing forces: the Eros, creative capacity and the Thanatos, destructive capacity of the human being. The text argues the causes of violence in young people and the problems that these people experience in El Salvador, especially Nahuat speakers, linking a critical reflection of the programs and cultural projects aimed at young people. Finally, it raises the importance of generating a cultural offer that leads to culture, but also teaches how to respond to culture, promotes creativity, that is, encourages eros, to achieve processes of transformation of social reality.
