El empoderamiento de los ciudadanos en Internet

Abstract

La comunicación digital interactiva y el ciberespacio como lugar para la relación, la organización social y las dinámicas socio educativas han creado un nuevo contexto de referencia que condiciona las prácticas culturales y educativas. En este sentido la Ciberanimación se nos presenta como la práctica de la animación sociocultural contextualizada en el ciberespacio y en el paradigma de la Sociedad Digital. En los últimos años hemos asistido a las #revoluciones sociales: Indignados en España, Ocupa Wall, Street, la Primavera árabe o las recientes luchas ciudadanas en Brasil que, a partir de una realidad injusta o problematizadora han sido capaces de aglutinar emociones, y generar procesos de debate, organización social y acción solidaria tendentes a la mejora de las condiciones de vida y el cambio social. A partir de estos elementos y utilizando herramientas de participación, protagonismo ciudadano, concienciación, debate y toma de decisión, han contribuido no solo al cambio de representación social sobre temas básicos relacionados con el reparto de la riqueza, la inclusión o la democracía social sino que han sido capaces de alcanzar apreciables cambios sociales.

The interactive digital media and cyberspace as a place for the relationship, social organization and social and educational dynamics have created a new frame of reference that determines the cultural and educational practices. In this sense Ciberanimation is presented as the practice of sociocultural contextualized in cyberspace and in the paradigm of the Digital Society. In recent years we have witnessed social #revoluciones: Indignados in Spain, Occupy Wall, Street, the Arab Spring or the recent civic struggles in Brazil, from an unjust reality or problematizing have been able to bring together emotions, and generate deliberative processes, social organization and aimed at improving the living conditions and social change solidarity. From these elements and using participatory tools, citizen advocacy, awareness, discussion and decision making, have contributed not only to the change of social representation on key issues related to the distribution of wealth, the inclusion or social democracy but have been able to achieve significant social change.
