dc.description	In this paper we will study the celebrations of beatification and canonisation that took place in the city of Seville since 1672, the year after the commemoration of the sanctity of King Ferdinand III, to 1750. Taking Sevillian sermons and pamphlets as the main sources for this research, in the following pages we will focus on the common aspects of the festive phenomenology, analyzing how churches became "abbreviated skies", characterized by specific ornaments and ephemeral pieces of architecture made for that purpose. In addition, the sumptuary wealth, the symbolic culture and the relevance of images of saints in relation to these feasts, are also key features of these `abbreviated skies¿ . Finally, an assessment of the relations between these festivities and other festivals of the Baroque has been made.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Se estudia en este texto el conjunto de fiestas de beatificación y canonización de la ciudad de Sevilla en el período comprendido entre 1672, tras los fastos por la santidad de Fernando III, y 1750. Utilizando como fuente principal los impresos sevillanos vinculados con tales celebraciones se analizan los aspectos comunes de su fenomenología festiva, y el papel de estas celebraciones en la creación de nuevos espacios, "abreviados cielos" caracterizados por el papel del ornamento y las arquitecturas efímeras levantadas al efecto, así como por su riqueza suntuaria, cultura simbólica y relevancia de las imágenes de la santidad y su función en tales fastos. Finalmente hacemos una valoración de tales celebraciones en el contexto de la fiesta barroca.	es_ES
