Se realiza una revisión bibliográfica que abarca desde la evolución del concepto de diversidad funcional hasta el rol de la mujer como cuidadora principal. Se pretende conocer las fases por las que pasa una familia cuando uno de sus miembros adquiere un daño cerebral mediante el uso de la metodología cualitativa y, empleando, en concreto, la técnica de la entrevista. Las preguntas formuladas en ella son de invención propia y abarcan cuatro bloques, centrados en las etapas que se cree que son más cruciales para las familias.This Final Degree Project shows a research design on acquired brain damage, the people who suffer from it and, especially, the families of those affected. A bibliographic review is carried out that ranges from the evolution of the concept of functional diversity to the role of women as the main caregiver. The aim is to know the phases a family goes through when one of its members acquires brain damage through the use of qualitative methodology and, specifically, the interview technique.
