En el municipio están en contacto el náhuatl y el español y, en consecuencia dos culturas, por lo tanto, la tradición oral se nutre de la visión indígena y la occidental; ambas perviven sin conflicto y son perfectamente identificables, para demostrarlo, de la gama de historias recopiladas presento un breve análisis basado en cuatro relatos que tienen como personaje central a El Tentzon (cordillera herencia de los abuelos, lugar para pedir la lluvia y casa del diablo).In this text I introduce part of the investigation that I did during the degree, whose core objective was the compilation and study of the oral tradition of the municipality of Atoyatempan (Puebla-Mexico).
