AB El presente artículo constituye una aproximación al tratamiento de la violencia de género en el cuento hondureño del siglo XXI, específicamente la violencia contra las mujeres y las niñas, a partir de cuatro narraciones publicadas entre los años 2012 y 2019, correspondientes a tres autoras y un autor: Mimí Díaz Lozano, Jessica Sánchez, Rebeca Becerra Lanza y Kalki Martínez. Para los fines de este artículo, se ha considerado relevante el contexto biográfico de las escritoras y el escritor, así como la necesidad de superar un canon literario y académico que reduce el panorama de la literatura, y especialmente la narrativa, a determinados autores y muy pocas autoras.
AB This article is an approach to the treatment of gender violence in the Honduran short story of the 21st century, specifically violence against women and girls, based on four narratives published between 2012 and 2019, corresponding to three female authors and one male author: Mimí Díaz Lozano, Jessica Sánchez, Rebeca Becerra Lanza and Kalki Martínez. For the purposes of this article, the biographical context of the writers has been considered relevant, as well as the need to overcome a literary and academic canon that reduces the panorama of literature, and especially narrative, to certain male authors and very few female authors .
