%X Tras la Guerra Civil Española, el historiador Claudio Sánchez-Albornoz se exilió en Argentina en 1940. Dos años después, se incorporó a la Universidad de Buenos Aires, donde se creó para él la Cátedra de Historia de España y, posteriormente, el Instituto de Historia de España. Este centro de investigación formó a varias generaciones de hispanistas y medievalistas. Para difundir sus estudios, Sánchez-Albornoz fundó una revista académica que obtuvo reconocimiento nacional e internacional: 'Cuadernos de Historia de España'. Este estudio examina el legado documental de Sánchez-Albornoz en Argentina, cuya preservación y desarrollo propiciaron la creación del actual Centro Argentino de Estudios Históricos Sánchez-Albornoz (CADEHISA).
%X Following the Spanish Civil War, historian Claudio Sánchez-Albornoz went into exile in Argentina in 1940. Two years later, he joined the University of Buenos Aires, where the Chair of Spanish History was created for him, and later, the Institute of Spanish History was established. This research center trained several generations of Hispanists and medievalists. To disseminate his studies, Sánchez-Albornoz founded a scholarly journal that gained recognition both nationally and internationally: Cuadernos de Historia de España ('Notebooks on the History of Spain'). This study examines Sánchez-Albornoz's documentary legacy in Argentina, the preservation and development of which led to the creation of the current Sánchez-Albornoz Argentine Center for Historical Studies (CADEHISA).
