La novela examina la compleja y conflictiva relación inherente a toda narrativa entre ficción, memoria e historia; y destaca las diversas estrategias retóricas que el autor emplea para reconstruir un acontecimiento histórico del pasado a través de la perspectiva de la posmemoria.
AB A comprehensive analysis of Paco Cerdá's novel 'Presentes', whose central theme is the transfer of José Antonio Primo de Rivera's remains to the Valley of the Fallen. The novel examines the complex and conflicted relationship inherent in all narratives between fiction, memory, and history; it highlights the various rhetorical strategies the writer employs to reconstruct a historical event from the past through the lens of post-memory.
