AB El presente trabajo se propone abordar las características que tuvo la ola de antisemitismo en Argentina durante los años del “affaire Eichmann” (1960-´1962) y su impacto en una serie de ámbitos diferenciados: las intervenciones de las instituciones representativas de la vida judía en el país, la composición de grupos de autodefensa de jóvenes judíos y la movilización entre los estudiantes de colegios secundarios de la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Para ello, se analizarán una serie de documentos que aún no han sido relevados como el expediente sobre “la situación en los colegios secundarios” confeccionado por la Delegación de Asociaciones Israelitas de Argentina (DAIA) y un Legajo de la Dirección de Inteligencia de la Policía de la Provincia de Buenos Aires en torno a un procedimiento “contra elementos de la colectividad israelita”. Finalmente, se abordarán las representaciones simbólicas y culturales en torno al “caso Eichmann” y la ola antisemita que se circularon en Argentina en aquellos años.
AB The present work aims to address the characteristics of the wave of anti-Semitism in Argentina during the years of the“Eichmann affair” (1960-1962) and its impact in a series of differentiated areas: the interventions of the representative institutions of Jewish life in the country, the composition of self-defense groups of Jewish youth and the mobilization among secondary school students in the city of Buenos Aires. To do this, a series of documents that have not yet been revealed will be analyzed, such as the file on “the situation in secondary schools” prepared by the Delegation of Israeli Associations of Argentina (DAIA) and a File from the Police Intelligence Directorate. of the Province of Buenos Aires regarding a procedure “against elements of the Israel community.” Finally, the symbolic and cultural representations around the “Eichmann case” and the anti-Semitic wave that circulated in Argentina in those years will be addressed.
