%X El objetivo de este trabajo es visualizar la realidad de mujeres con diversidadfuncional intelectual que han ejercido la maternidad o pretenden hacerlo. Frentea los escasos estudios sobre este colectivo y su derecho a la maternidad, sepretende hacer alusión a las múltiples barreras y estereotipos a los que hacenfrente estas mujeres, a través de un enfoque intersectorial. Tras la revisiónbibliográfica y la lectura de las múltiples normativas internacionales y nacionalesque defienden los derechos reproductivos y la maternidad como una meta aalcanzar en nuestras sociedades, se observa una tendencia hacia lareproducción de situaciones de discriminación y marginación, perpetuado por lasobreprotección familiar y prácticas profesionales como el aborto coercitivo o laesterilización forzada. Para poder conocer la visión y la autopercepción de lamujer con diversidad funcional intelectual frente al ejercicio de la maternidad, sehan realizado varias entrevistas en profundidad a una mujer de este colectivo, afin de poder llevar a cabo la técnica de la historia de vida, bajo el enfoquefenomenológico y el método bibliográfico. Una vez analizadas estas entrevistas,y haciendo una comparación con lo que afirman los escasos autores que hanestudiado la temática, afirmamos que esta historia de vida es un ejemplo desuperación y el reflejo de la necesidad de establecer medidas y cauces para lafacilitación de apoyos dentro del presente paradigma de vida independiente.
%X The objective of this degree proyect is to visualize the reality of women withintellectual functional diversity who have exercised maternity or intend to do so.Faced with the few studies on this group and their right to maternity, it is intendedto show to women coup with the numerous barriers and stereotypes, through anintersectoral approach. After the bibliographical review and reading of the manyinternational and national laws that defend reproductive rights and motherhoodas a goal to be achieved in our societies, there is a tendency towards thereproduction of situations of discrimination and marginalization, perpetuated bythe family overprotection and professional practices such as coercive abortion orforced sterilization. To know the vision and the self-perception of women withintellectual functional diversity in relation to the exercise of motherhood, severalinterviews have been carried with a woman of this group in order to be able tocarry out the life history technique, under the phenomenological approach andthe bibliographic method. After analyzing these interviews, and making acomparison with the few authors who have studied the topic, we affirm that thislife history is an example of overcoming and a reflection about the need toestablish measures and channels for the facilitation of supports, within thepresent paradigm of independent life.
