AB A raíz del éxito de iniciativas como el año Murillo resulta oportuno preguntarse cómo podemos exponer el barroco aprovechando toda su capacidad expresiva. Desprovista una obra de arte del entorno eclesiástico o doméstico donde solía estar, el museo puede convertirse en un lugar excesivamente frio si no analizamos las necesidades concretas de cada pieza. Como estudio de caso, veremos las iniciativas llevadas a cabo en 2007 con el proyecto Andalucía Barroca, centrando nuestra atención en la muestra Fiesta y Simulacro, celebrada en el palacio episcopal de Málaga. En ella, la arquitectura y los elementos efímeros y teatrales de la museografía servían para potenciar un discurso de rigor científico y captar la atención de los usuarios.
AB Due to the success of initiatives such as the Murillo year, we may wonder how to exhibit Baroque taking advantage of its expressivity. Outside of its ecclesiastical or domestic environment, artworks may look decontextualised in museums if we do not study their characteristics. For example, we will look into the project `Andalucía Barroca¿ (2007), and especially the exhibition `Fiesta y Simulacro¿, which took place in the palacio episcopal of Málaga. In this case, architecture and short and theatrical pieces of the museography called visitors¿ attention and encouraged a scientific perspective.
