The comparison is based on terminology and definitions, existing regulations, and official guidelines. The main conclusion is that Spain has a higher degree of development than the United Kingdom and Ireland in terms of institutions, laws, and guidelines. Ireland's progress is still in its early stages and even less advanced than that of the United Kingdom. The most relevant institutions in the three countries are mentioned, and there are hardly any differences in the recommendations for text adaptation, which are very general and originate from the same international guidelines. %K Easy-to-read %K Cognitive accessibility %K Intellectual disability %K Simplification %~
