%X En este artículo se pretende reflexionar sobre la cultura de la muertey sus representaciones en el cine mexicano a través de tres períodos.Estos permiten analizar, de manera general, lo acontecido en cadauna de las etapas en relación a la cultura de la muerte y la festividadde Día de Muertos. Cabe mencionar que en las últimas décadas, elDía de Muertos se ha convertido en un icono de identidad de la naciónmexicana por lo que el análisis de este artículo permite poneren valor estas representaciones en el séptimo arte.
%X This article proposes to reflect on the Death culture and its representations in mexican cinema throughout three periods. These three periods allow us to analize, in general terms, how the Day of the Dead was related to different events that happen in each stage. It¿s worth mentioning that in the last decades, the Day of the Dead has become an icon of identity of the Mexican Nation, that is why this article has a special focus on placing a value to this representations in the Seventh Art.
