AB A Bibliotheca Lusitana publicada entre 1741 e1759, é a concretização de um projecto biobibliográfico no Portugal de Setecentos. Diogo Barbosa Machado (1682-1772) é o responsável pela sua concretização. Produto de uma forma distinta de labor académico, fruto do seu contexto de produção, a obra pode ser útil para estudarmos, não apenas os autores, mas também as concepções de História setecentista ou reflectir sobre a concepção de autor. Tentativa de obra total, exige a participação de múltiplos académicos e instituições. Visualizar essa rede e sondar de que geografias são os autores e obras recuperados por Diogo Barbosa Machado poderá contribuir para visualizarmos que firmamento é este. AB The Bibliotheca Lusitana, published between 1741 and 1759, marks the fufillment of a bibliographical project in Portugal of the 1700s. Diogo Barbosa Machado (1682-1772) is responsible for its materialisation. Stemming from the chronology in which it was published, the series of volumes is useful in the analysis of not only the authors mentioned but also concepts of History in the seventeenth centuryand the concept of authorship. In an attemptto create a comprehensive work, the participationof multiple academics and instituions is required. A visualization of the geographic network of authors and collaborators may aid in the understanding of what Barbosa Machado puts in writing. Is this a theatro litterario that extends to the Atlantic world of the time? What is the place of the Ibero-American world in the works?
