%X Este artículo presenta un análisis acerca de cómo las artistas colombianascontemporáneas Martha Amorocho y Leilani Quinteroencuentran en la práctica artística un medio propicio para exteriorizar,analizar, sobrellevar incluso transformar situaciones traumáticasprovocadas por la violencia física y simbólica ejercida sobre suscuerpos. En el caso de la primera a partir de la dolorosa experienciade la violación, y en la segunda del padecimiento de un desordenalimenticio (Bulimia). A lo largo de este texto se expondrá comoambas obras tienen la capacidad de denotar las causas y efectos deestas realidades en el sujeto que las vive, y más allá de esto nos demuestrandetalladamente una nueva iconografía de lo irrepresentable:emociones y sensaciones de cuerpos dóciles, manipulados ysometidos en el pasado, pero que hoy buscan la liberación de recuerdoshirientes y pensamientos obsesivos.
