It also proposes that this relationship is mediated by recruiters’ attitudes, encouraging the use of more playful and user-friendly techniques.Design/methodology/approachThis article presents a theoretical and empirical model analyzing how recruiters’ attitudes influence the relationship between individual drivers and their behavioral intention to use gamification. The model was tested among 203 recruiters using partial least squares structural equations and fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis to explore factors contributing to high behavioral intention.FindingsWe empirically confirm that individual drivers positively influence recruiters' behavioral intentions. This effect intensifies when drivers directly influence attitudes, underscoring attitudes as a key mediator in the relationship between drivers and their attitudes.Originality/valueThe results increase confidence in applying gamification in recruitment, reinforcing the role of individual drivers as predictors of behavioral intention. %K Gamification %K Recruitment %K Employee attitudes %K Intention to use %K Human resource management practices %~
